POON HILL TREKKING
 
The highlight of this trek is the visit to Poon Hill (3210m) from where you can enjoy a spectacular sunrise over the whole Himalayan range and the surrounding rice terraces (a photographers paradise!). From the scenic village of Tikedungha, you will be transported back to Pokhara enjoying the last views of the majestic scenery.

You will also be able to marvel at the gargantuan stature of the fish tail shaped Mt. Machhapuchhare (6900m). Ascending along the trail to Ghorapani, several varieties of colourful orchids are on show along with clear views of the towering expanse of Mt. Dhaulagiri I (8167m). TRIP GRADING
Easy trekking, by Himalayan standards is generally between 900m/3,000ft. and 2,000m/6,500ft. There are always plenty of 'ups and downs' anywhere in the Himalaya and clients need to be regular walkers to get full enjoyment from their experience.

Arrival in Katmandu International Airport and transfer to Hotel
Day 2
Katmandu Valley Sightseeing; pre trek information; evening guide introductions
Day 3
A smooth drive for 6-7 hours to pokhara; overnight in pokhara
Day 4
Pokhara - Phedi - Pothana
Day 5
Pothana - Landruk
Day 6
Landruk - Ghandruk
Day 7
Ghandruk - Tadapani
Day 8
Tadapani - Ghorapani
Day 09
Ghorapani - Tikedungha via Poon Hill
Day 10
Tikedungha - Naya Pul – Pokhara and trek concludes.
