Handicrafts Product from Nepal
To
the world's Buddhists and Hindus, Mt Kailash
is the high, remote western borderland of
Tibet is the centre of the universe, the
holiest of holy. It definitely looks the
part, rising like a lone apparition form
the windswept alpine meadows that surround
it on all sides. On its immaculate white
22,000-foot summit legend says, the worlds
of humankind and gods meet. Pilgrims come
from as far away as the tropical plains
of southern India and beyond to walk the
ancient, shrine studded pilgrims' trails
that circle the base of the peak.
Following in their footsteps,
walking alongside rugged nomads, Hindu holy
men and jewel-adorned aristocrats on horseback,
it is easy to believe, as they do, that
a single pilgrimage around Kailash burns
away a thousand years of ignorance and bad
karma.
Breathing
that rarefied air, eyes filled with brilliant
rock, snow and sky, passing a veritable
Canterbury Tales-worth of medieval style
fellow travellers, magic seems logical,
the power of the place undeniable. Before
or after completing the circuit, the group
will visit the exquisite turquoise color
Lake Mansarovar, also considered to be
very sacred.
The
Hindu poet, Kalidash, wrote
in the 3rd century:-
When
the earth of Manasarovar touches
anyone’s body or when
anyone bathes therein, he shall
go to the paradise of Brahma,
and he who drinks its water
shall go to the heaven of Shiva
and shall be released from the
sins of 100 births. Even the
beast that bears the name of
Manasarovar shall go to the
paradise of Brahma. Its water
are like pearls".

Kailash
Parikrama (Kora) Three days
parikrama encircles the most exalted peak
of Kailash traversing through valley of
gods, darsan of North face, Parbati Kunda
and various other holy sites and mountains.
Mansarovar
parikrama Created from
Lord Brahma’s Manasa, the turquoise
lake of Mansarovar is a place of divinely
bath. The legend falls true to some devotees
of who stay awake to watch divinely bodies
in a manifestation of falling stars. Yatris
will have a single day for contemplating
this compassionate lake with boulder of
Kailash in the backdrop and performing
homa-puja. Asthapada
Puja Asthapada
– the eight stepped mountain affluent
with fantastic cave formations where the
Rishis, Sadhus and Buddhist monks used
to meditate is not other than the domain
of Shiva as it appears from South. We
will walk up to the closest point from
where Kailash and Mansarovar appear with
its best view and perform asthapada puja. Tirthapuri Situated
at 70 km west of Kaialsh on the bank of
Satlaj River Tirthapuri is the legendry
spot where the demon Bhasmasure was burnt
to ash. Boiling hot water spouting out
of the ground cures many skin diseases.
Starting point of "kailash-Mansarovar Yatra"
is the capital city "kathmandu" of Nepal
where the god mingles with men. A visit to the
temple in the heart of city "Pashupatinath",
a manifestation of Lord Shiva is of great merit
for Hindus. Yatries enjoys Evening Prayers "Arati".
Not only this there are uncountably many temples
with equal religious significance. All the yatri's
are requested to attend a briefing by the experts
about the pilgrimage on the second day of Yatra.
Then the rest of the evening is for the preparation
of their trip. On the same day of their departure
from the Hotel, yatri's will cross the Nepal-Border
and will be in Tibetan town called "Nylam"
(3,750 m). Evening after a drive of about 7 hrs.
and altitude yatri's will not feel good but our
experienced staffs are already aware about that
and will come with all hospitality. One more day's
rest, which we always recommend, will make yatri's
to continue their Journey. "Saga" is
the place where mostly yatri's fell sick with
altitude but every staff members know that better
and will be ready for all situation through out
the night and day. Our crew will carry oxygen,
PAC (portable Altitude chamber) and other alternatives
to take care of the victims. After attending that
height, yatri's will start to feel better and
enjoys it more of their yatra towards Holy Kailash.
On the second day from there, Yatri's will be
able to have a spellbinding "Darshan"
of Kailash and Mansarovar. It will take about
two days for Mansarovar kora and "Homa-puja".
Then yatri's are ready for kailash parikarima.
Guide will provide one yak and helper for each
member as per requirement. They are really helpful
while you are exhausted in the climb of DoLma
La. After finishing kora, their faces seems bright
as they have conquered a battle against life or
Lord kailash have granted them absolution from
all sins.

First Aid
/ Medical Kits: AATMA Adventures
provides basic 1st aid items but we highly
recommend that you bring a well-stocked personal
medical kit.
The probability of getting sick is obviously higher
while traveling than staying back at home. It
is always beneficial to prepare for the sickness
that is likely to thrive and its basic treatment,
as you will be quite far from medical facilities
most of the time. The main health concern in this
Yatra is illness because of altitude, a respiratory
infection and traveler’s diarrhoea. Since
this is a pilgrimage, majority of the peoples
traveling are of old age. So we urge you to make
sure that you are as healthy as possible before
starting. If you take medication regularly for
some chronic diseases, concern your medical consultant
and always keep some amount of this medicine in
you daypack. In such cases of having some medical
complications, always carry a brief outline of
your problem with you. Kailash Manasarover Package
includes Kailash cora which is little strenuous.
Workout regularly concentrated on strength training
associated with walking and jogging.
